That's the question!
Probably everyone is rushing to press the power down at these prices. I mean...from those who already haven't, lol.
Honestly, it's probably the sensible thing to do with these prices, whether you just want to cash out and disappear or if you just want to increase your hive position.
Nfa, but yeah powering down and selling is probably the smart thing to do.
Having said that, I won't. Hive has been more than just fair to me, and for more then a year I have been consistently been a top rewarded author. Powering down just feels "unfair". Sure I have put plenty of hours engaging and whatever but I never expected I would be doing that good :D
I am also in a good place in my life now, I don't need the extra stress of selling hive and hoping it will go down only to buy more 😂
Last cycle I had sold about 10k hive and bought myself some nice things. This time I think I will be an idiot and just enjoy the higher post rewards for however long they last, stress free!
I guess in this round I'll just accumulate hbd from my postings and buy a good chunk of hive when the winter comes again. I also have plenty of hive divs rolling from various hive engine investments, I'll be putting half in hbd and the other half in $gifu a bsc token I am highly involved as you may know from all my recent postings :)
Tldr, just post and enjoy the ride stress free this time:D
Honestly, I am just happy to see all this price going and hive reclining the market cap ladder. I was pretty sure we were on a death spiral but we probably bought at least 4 more years

This is a solid query.
I have been wondering the same thing but with smaller amounts of course.
It can be cool to have some liquid hive and play when you got the chance.
I think that for now I will leave it as is :)
I missed cash out during the last few bull runs. This time I don't want to miss the opportunity. Of course I will buy back if the price goes down again.
Probably the smart decision 🤞
This is my plan, currently powering down.
How high do you think it will go?
1 hive will always be 1 hive 😆
I’m sure there will be plenty of power downs. It’s inevitable……
You are the Greek Rockefeller, you don’t need anymore money….
!pimp
LOL true Trumpman is doing very well
Of course he is…..
Let's keep growing this cycle haha
Actually I haven't even made my mind up yet about what I want to do myself. I guess I'll just keep growing the stack and think about all the money I could've had later.

Heh

I see some big guns - you know them too ;) -powering down (a little); Fully understand.
Meanwhile all our voting power goes up. A SGS full vote is now 10 USD. The good times are back!
At 100$ I'll switch silver for gold sir .. just a 10 x 😆
lol powerdown at 0,6$? haha
I see Hive at 50$+
And time in the markets beats timing the market.
I am happy with 15$ + 🙃
Indeed, I think it's too early to power down at 0.6$
Nice gif :)
Haha! No idea who made it, I just searched for hive, felt appropriate 😆
I am only doing a little so I can get in that hope it drops to get back in dance 😀 - I will probably stick it all into HBD for the future tho, takes the stress out of watching and praying!
Good luck 🤞🤞🤞 Probably the smart thing to do !
The game theory is interesting. Personally I don't like the 3 month power down format. STEEM and BLURT went to the 1 month power down but I still think that is too long. I can see a case for a 3 day unstake like EOS had.
I am ok with three months. Imo there are other, more serious issues holding us back. The long power down time is probably way down the list.
Yeah there are various issues for sure and it's tough for everyone to move in the same direction.
Not yet, but I will be doing if it continues to rise. I have no intention of leaving though, there are ways to get a lot out but end up with more. I'm sure you know how.
Keep on growing HIVE :D
But buying nice things is also cool
Such a dilemma !BBH
If I was to arbitrage I would do it to increase my position here. Atm I have enough nice things :D
I will keep on staking!

It’s always not a straight forward thing. Only time will tell the best cause of action. There is neither right or wrong in this decision but only convictions
the longer you drive, the better. the question will come down. and how deep.
Last time I did made most of the surge, but this time I am holding on too...yet to press the panic sell button...since morning a lot is talked about on Binance...if there are some murmur, then their must be something serious about.
Yes, you can play on the market - but only if you understand what you are doing!
I am powering down because I want to change some Hive to HBD.
I'm just converting liquid hive to hbd, I leave the staked as it is, by the time you power down might have dumped already... I haven't cash out anything tough, just gone to hbd
With my luck, if I start a power down Hive plummets to 0. So I'll just Hodl, let everyone else cash out on the moon prices! I'll be sure to make a post when I intend on 'cashing out at the top', that way everyone has a few days warning for the inevitable crash haha!
Converting some to HBD and will wait for correction.

Unless you're in financial need I do not see the need of powering down and selling your #hive
People can follow different strategies here. Maybe they will sell at a high price and buy hives at a low price. That way they will have more hives.
This is just the beginning of the altcoin season. There’s more to the rally.
Keep growing sir, nice #hive strategy
The price is not yet a reason for a powerdown. Remember those who sold Bitcoin at 100, 1,000 or 10,000 dollars.
The only reason to power down (for me) is if you need the money.
Nice Gif!
I think it's fair. Sometimes it's good to be sentimentally biased towards Hive, and thanks for fighting for the chain whenever the need arises
I still praying hive drops soon so as to accumulate more hive. Buying at this price will be a big lost at this point we dont know if its going higher or coming down soon
This is a refreshing perspective! It’s always inspiring to see someone prioritizing long-term vision and community engagement over short-term gains. I completely agree—Hive has provided immense opportunities for many of us, and your balanced approach to accumulation and reinvestment is commendable. Kudos on staying stress-free and riding the wave confidently!
That said, I couldn’t help but wonder—while you're experiencing consistent rewards and engagement, I’ve noticed that some of my posts seem to be getting very little traction in comparison. I'm curious—do you think it’s about the timing, content strategy, or just how visibility works on Hive? I’d really appreciate any insights from someone with your experience.
Looking forward to more of your stress-free updates and strategies!
Proudly joining you in the "No Power Down Club". Just kidding, I have nothing to power down anymore, already had to do it before but it still feels good to see the current pumps, even though we are still a far cry from the ATH. But who knows, maybe Hive will hit such levels one day that even my tiny leftovers will be worth something :)

Upvoted 👌 (Mana: 0/66) Liquid rewards.
If you're gonna power down start now... it's a 3 month process.
Sales of my hive token is not part of the discussion for me.
But it's good joining the discussion forums.
Power Up!!!! 🍻
with price up upvotes fist value anyway go up! I vote Power Up!
Your perspective is truly admirable! Hive has done a lot for me as well, and the way you're approaching it with patience and waiting for the best rewards is really inspiring. I believe that patience and making the right decisions at the right time are key. The future of Hive looks bright, and the way you're enjoying the journey will definitely inspire others. Hope the ride continues to be a rewarding one for you!
My bag isn't nearly as large as yours, so I'm not selling. I see how it could be a tougher choice for you though. Very cool of you to not power down and enjoy those high rewards. That HBD will pile up pretty fast too!

This is always the question for me also during a Hive Pump.
Power Down and sell...when?? I already sold my 1000 plus HBD and bought Hive during the bear under 20 cents, so the smart thing to do would be to buy back my HBD at a triple gain... and then buy Hive with the HBD or Leo... decisions decisions...
What is Hive goes to a dollar or 2 dollars?
Then I feel silly for selling at 60 cents even for 300% profit...
Thats probably greed and FOMO talking though...
Probably should book my gains and be happy to hopefully triple my HBD
I have not hit the Power Down button myself either.
Maybe if we go past $1 Hive, I might Power down 3-4K but definitely want to stay above 10K HP.
θα ηθελα πολυ να κανω power down αλλα ειτε το πιστευεις ειτε οχι βαριεμαι τη διαδικασια οποτε λεω δε γαμεις....αντε και καλη χρονια
Good choice, man. I get very stressed when I sell Hive and see the price going up. I could have waited for it to go up a bit more or waited for it to go down a bit more and bought more Hive but we can't turn back time. I read your posts often and I see that you are doing a good job. I am also in favor of not doing Power Down. If I do one day, it will be so that I can buy more when the price drops. Or to cover some of my marriage expenses.
👏
I'm hanging around, hoping the coin will have some value for my heirs. Not a trader. A blogger. I feel an obligation to others on the platform to help it grow. As modest as my position is, I try to do a yoe(woman's) duty and keep plugging along. Very happy to see you'll be here for the ride. We need you :)
Same, I'm buying a bit of HIVE every month to support the network, and some of the projects I enjoy - but mainly I just want HIVE to keep working well. For the sake of development, it is good that the price action has been positive.
I've got a buying schedule/budget this year and I'll keep buying one way or the other. I'm more interested in accumulating Hive-power, and supporting projects.
