You can't break out of prison without a real plan ✏️

There was a show on TV, I know I used to love and still do love shows like that, where people told the story of how they attempted to escape prison.

I think it's the rush of imagining yourself in that situation, understanding that you could die or get a harsher sentence, you can hear in their voice how they still get excited when they tell the story.

This is why I love documentaries. One time my boss walked in on me while I was telling my coworkers that I love ghost documentaries but I like to see the families cry, haha. How could I enjoy seeing people cry? I don't, I just like to know that I'm not wasting my time with fake ghost stories.

In my mind, if they are such good actors to convince me that the pain is real then they deserve for me to watch their stuff. But if it's real, if something did happen to those people, then I want all the details because...well...I'm not necessarily checking for Indian land records when I buy a new house.

The way I see it, I think it's easier for me to tell when families went through something than maybe one individual actor or two.

If you've never seen the haunted shows I'm talking about and you scare easily I would suggest you don't watch them. I'm not scared of the dead, I have enough to worry about with the living, but some of the things these people say they went through...creepy stuff even for someone who grew up in the dark.

Just heard about this inmate-guard couple that got caught after a prison break 11 days later. Most are caught on the first night...

Why? Strong emotions, adrenaline, desperation, tension, stress. They are so focused on getting out of there that most people in these prison documentaries describe landing over a fence and realizing they didn't really have a plan.

Like they went through months of digging and they didn't think to maybe secure a phone before heading out? No car? No clothes or money? Do they even know which way is north while their heart is beating out of their chest and the dogs barking?

Most people have a plan for what they want...if you really want it then you can get it, but what then?

You don't need to have it all figured out, but you do need to be somewhat comfortable with not knowing things entirely or not knowing how they will end exactly. All the same, a detailed plan, an analog to-do list, can sometimes be the greatest aid to productivity and creativity.
