Crypto Analysis | What is Hive's Outlook?

Good day Hiveians!

Join me in analyzing the crypto markets!

Since the HF26 and HF27 Hive has underperformed a great deal

In fact, we saw an incredible sell off just days after the HF. I made a post about it and I think the main culprit could have been the suspension of Hive on the exchanges which is actually still ongoing! Yesterday Binance still didn't allow for withdrawals of Hive which is very unusal, considering that the temporary suspension only lasted a couple of days after HF25. There doesn't really seem to be a good reason for the exchanges to not recontinue Hive withdrawals and it certainly seems to be a very low priority for them currently.

Macro Support is still holding - barely

But Hive is also trying to break out of this position every other day as is visible by the large upward spikes. So far they are only mini pump&dumps, although in my experience this can also transition into a bigger pump as well if it continues. Resistances on the daily and weekly chart from the former highs have been often broken over the last weeks, suggesting that a bigger breakout could occur at any moment. In fact, I would be surprised if we didn't see a bigger pump in November.

Notice how price is currently sitting between the two resistance trend lines which come from the previous highs on the daily and weekly charts.

Now let's zoom into the daily chart where you will be able to see the attempts of breaking out of this position more clearly. The most recent ones are highlighted with the ellipses.

If the low of 44 cents was indeed the end of Hive's corrective fractal, then there is a good chance we could see 2 sub waves before a major movement (seen here as A and B as well as the bigger movement C):

The horizontal resistance at about 64 cents should still prove a major hurdle if price would head there. If we can head higher than that, I easily see a target of $1.2+.

Conclusion

All in all I remain hopeful that Hive will continue on it's movement to higher highs. We shouldn't forget that Hive has overall outperformed Bitcoin since the June crash and is up by 52% since then! The delay in withdrawals from exchanges is a bummer and should hopefully resume in the coming days. A possible black swan event could, however, be a delisting from e.g. Binance for whatever reason...

Update: Just 3 minutes before I posted this @twicejoy made a post confirming that Binance has resumed Hive withdrawals! https://peakd.com/hive-167922/@twicejoy/hive-is-now-back-on-binance

As a general reminder: Please keep in mind that none of this is official investment advice! Crypto trading entails a great deal of risk; never spend money that you can't afford to lose!

just yesterday I was trying it, and it was down; good that it's back online, although I would like to know what took them so long

Am also curious about that. Though, this is the first time I witnessing such activities on the blockchain as I only joined last year

Binance has the capability to withdraw HIVE, I received some from them 3 days ago.

thanks for the confirmation! It was until yesterday still not available for Mandala

Oh wow, I'll have to check out Mandala exchange, always on the lookout for exchanges that deal with HIVE.

I won't be surprise if I see another massive pump for hive.

Withdraw at Mandala is active again, my guess is Binance also now.
