We didn't have any so far as we lived in homes where we were too far from fireworks, so with a small kid and no car, we just skipped going out all together.
This year I wanted to change that and decided to start a new years tradition with my boyfriend. I already set some things in motion that I wanted to change this year and I decided to sit down together, and write some important focus points for us on a big canvas. We discussed what was important and I painted the words on it.
I will cover the words with a layer of gesso and then create an artwork on top. I hope I can find the right inspiration to create something cool because the plan is to both look at it every day. The subconscious mind remembers the words we wrote on it so that will be a good reminder :)
