We see AI companies like OpenAI, Google and Anthropic are facing a bit of a challenge with their new models

These could be rumors

OpenAI's Orion didn't perform as expected and Google's Gemini has issues with data limitations and obeying instructions

The struggle is getting high-quality data and expenses in developing AI

But despite these challenges, they are still working on new models and I'm hopeful we'll see them in 2025.

The solution they need to seek out for is finding better, high-quality data, and also partnering with publishers because there's way too many copyright lawsuits flying all over the place.

They should also experiment with synthetic data. However I don't believe they've hit any kind of wall, I think big things are pending

Sort:

Sam Altman and others within OpenAI have countered those claims.

As stated elsewhere, notice how xAI and Elon Musk didnt state they were facing headwinds. It all comes down to compute to a degree and they are constrained.

I absolutely agree with you brother, and that's why I had to say they're rumors which I doubt. I watched an interview of Sam Altman countering it. I believe there's going to be bigger changes coming in

Training is still on going and I'm awaiting the arrival of Orion or Gpt 5.

When do you think it'll no longer be Generative Pre-trained again?

No idea. I do expect a major jump in the next generation of models, to the point where people are blow away by the difference. Some will take a bit longer.

People also have to realize a delay might mean 6 months. Many are acting like it will take years. It will not.

hahaha 6 months delay I'll take my chances with that. Thanks for the info brother

That is the nature of generative AI progress. It isnt measured in years but months.

We get anxious but progress is being made daily. For me, LeoAI cannot get here soon enough.
