I have released the fourth tool for Hive Engine Toolkit.
This module will analyze recent pending author payouts and show you the top 25 authors of any tribe. It will also give you the typical payout for users in the tribe.
You can find the tool on https://hiveengine.usehive.com.
Select the Top Tribe Authors tool and enter in the tribe token and hit run.
This tool can take a while to run and will cache results for 8 hours across users. It can sometimes take around 30-60 seconds, and sometimes a lot longer depending on how slow ScotBot API is at the time, it can vary wildly. Restarting it will not speed it up, so just let it chug away.
Once it has finished you will get something similar to what you see here. This tool helps you not only identify the top authors for a tribe but also give you some insight on the distribution. Ideally you want to see a slow decrease in rewards from the top rather than a group of heavily rewarded users to a sudden drop of much lower rewards.
I added a visualization of the distribution curve over
You will notice every tribe has a different distribution curve which you can easily compare to get a rough idea of the distribution at the top and the tail.
As you can see, this tool gives a really good visualization of the distribution of a tribe at the top of the rewards and throughout the rest of the community.
You can also use the "Typical rewards" to get a feel for what an average user would earn in the tribe.

Cleaver new tool for Hive Engine. By the way, I didn't realize you were a Firefly fan (Nathan Fillion GIF in your footer I assume), me too and I kind of like Rookie too but especially Castle.
Yeah, Castle was great. Beckett was the bomb. Apparently those two didn't get along though in RL. Kind of ruined it for me at the end....

I didn't know they didn't get along in real life except that it made sense at first but not so much after they were married on the show, then it was kind of odd. In the back of my head, I thought it was strange but my mind blamed the writers.
The more tools to help us understand the dynamics of posting and curating, the better. It gives everyone who wants to take their game to the next level a measuring stick to do so. Great work! Thank you!

Getting better by the day, this is very useful!
Groovy little tool. It's running at the moment - is it meant to take so long?
Yes. It caches for 8 hours.
:P Ran
Ugly figure. Why you can't make it pretty? Again and again, you are showing us how Low Ability you are. That's why we call you Low Ability Mark!
Thanks for checking it out!
