Looks like the ole Van Cave has rolled its last mile.
It’s sad and the end of an era for me, but I am having a hard time justifying a nearly $6K repair on a 22 year old vehicle.

Yeah, that is huge for a vehicle that old. My car is 25 years old. Still hanging on but when it goes it's gone. We aren't going to put anything more into it. Not significantly more.
Yeah, that’s kinda where I am. It’s mainly my emotional attachment to this van at this point, lol.
I get it! The Nissan Sentra I have is the fourth car I've had and I never had a car payment for any of them.
Once she dies we are going to be down to one car.
Roy just finished paying off his Honda recently. It's fairly new so we will be good for some time.
We don't go that many places anyway.

That’s how I am having to look at it. I just wish it would have waited a bit longer, lol, I still have a month and a half here before I move. But hey, at least it happened in a safe spot, could have been a lot worse.

Get my daughter off to college next month and move back to my family farm in the southeastern US. Guess I am renting a car for the move, lol.
