Ok, i agree with that there are people who can't control their spending but there are also people who make it all gamble by blindly putting there money in bad projects. They dream to become rich in less time and this destroys them.

That is the second part. The fact that most, at least in the west, have the consumerism mindset and cant stop spending derails any opportunity.
Second would be the get rich quick mindset.
