Kswap.App Fee Changes and Slippage Feature: What You Need to Know

Hello Hives,
We would like to share two quick updates regarding our latest swap service, KSWAP.APP. In our previous update, we reduced the fee values of KSWAP.APP to a dynamic coefficient of 0.3% and an average (base) fee of 0.0% for a limited time.

Fee Changes

Here, you can see how the fees for KSWAP.APP will change starting on April 28, 2023.

Current Fee Details
Base Fee = 0.000 (0% Average Fee)
Dynamic Coefficient = 0.003 (0.3% Max Fee)

Upcoming Fee Details (28-04-2023)
Base Fee = 0.001 (0.1% Average Fee)
Dynamic Coefficient = 0.0035 (0.35% Dynamic Fee)
Max Fee = 0.0045 (0.45% [Base Fee + Dynamic Fee])

Slippage Feature Added

Kswap.app is not only a swap service but also a swap pool for HIVE/SWAP.HIVE tokens. Therefore, we have decided to add a slippage option to avoid unnecessary refunds while the service is busy with a lot of customers.

Based on the screenshot above, you can see the "Minimum To Receive" amount. This will be the minimum swapped amount that you wish to receive from the bridge. (Please perform a hard refresh if you cannot see this updated user interface.)

The Formula Will Change To

These figures (BASE_FEE, DIFF_COEFFICIENT) can vary depending on future requirements.

BASE_FEE = 0.001;
DIFF_COEFICIENT = 0.0035;
diff = ((hive_to_swap * 0.5 + hive_in_pool) / (shive_in_pool + hive_in_pool)) - 0.5;

price = 1 - 2 * diff * DIFF_COEFICIENT;

shive_to_receive = hive_to_swap * price * (1 - BASE_FEE);

You can use a similar method to find the swap amount for "hive_to_receive" as well.
