As much as we'd like to believe everything is timeless, many of our values are modeled for the context that we're in.
That might be true, but I still believe many of the values and beliefs being thrown around and forced upon ppl isnt good for the overall society. Its more about to appear good rather than being good.
The more universal values are the ones that objectively benefit humanity and the planet. Those tend to stay, though their form changes based on what general behaviors are more beneficial in that time period.
