RE: Contenting On Hive: Niche VS Value

in LeoFinance3 months ago

Very true, many people enjoy the mundane content of the world which I as a general rule find tediously boring. It's probably why I hate reality TV programs as well. I've have yet to master the art of drawing huge audiences, and I have watched others accounts that do well. In the end I just do what I feel like, and that means some days I do nothing at all.

Those new to Hive really need to join new communities to grow, I know it's something I need to work on and I've been doing this for a year and a half. It's hard work, but it does pay off.

Great post as always!

I use to join a lot of initiative back in the day, I find it very passionate, because I generally love to meet people and talk. However, over the years, I've stopped, I've focused more on writing about crypto and meeting other people on-chain would would help my crypto know grow.
I also think I really don't like the community thing anymore because of personal life issues and I just don't enjoy talking to people anymore as I used to do in the past, I think people just become something different, the more time they spend.

You're doing well yourself, I think the communities on discord isn't what they use to be. Most people just want big curation from big accounts and there's no genuinety anymore.

I just stick with material that doesn't require sharing a lot of personal stuff. In the past I tried the same, but now I just kind of do what I want. A lot of times I'm just too tired to invest my energy into people's drama. The people I meet now I genuinely like so I talk to them. I don't spend much time on Discord now except for messaging. A lot of work that I could be putting into creating some content.
