I agree with you completely, you just aren't going to earn on X without the help of someone big!
It takes someone big to share your content and if not you're probably going to be earning 5 to 10$ on a monthly basis and this barely even covers the cost of subscription. The regular person just won't get Elon Musk money.
I'm happy with the digging I did. At the beginning I was almost tempted to get a blue tick, just to try monetisation there..
It's just not feasible without some heavy weight support, everyone who I have seen try it haven't made any real money.
It's just true, even people in great geographical areas do not make enough money. Only about 5% of creators will actually make any decent amount of money.
Like I said, it you're best friends with a Kardashian you'll make tons of money. But us nobody's can't make a dime!
