For the Christmas holiday this past week I received several gift cards as gifts. It's a gift I always enjoy having as I can choose out something fun that I might want to purchase that I otherwise might not have bought. As all of you know by now, I'm a big fan of silver and gold, so what better place to spend some gift card money?
I started to search around the usual precious metals dealers to see what kind of deals they might have available. I found a few things that weren't too bad, but let's be honest, silver and gold are not cheap anymore... While shopping around I ran into a coin I hadn't seen before from the island tropical paradise of Niue. The $7 coin is a three Troy ounce silver roulette wheel that actually spins and has it's own little ball! On top of that it comes with it's own roulette game board so you can play roulette with the coin! And I thought I had seen it all...

Now how cool is that? It was produced in 2023 and only 555 of them were minted, so the one they have for sale on JM Bullion is one they must have bought off a customer. I would love to buy this coin, however the asking price is just a touch out of my gift card budget at $591.16. I wish I would have found one of these when they first came out and silver was cheaper, it could have been an awesome flip!

Silver continues to show it's muscle as it hangs on near $80 per Troy ounce. This year has been incredible for all of us silver investors as we've seen the price shoot up like a rocket, and it's far from over! Over fifty percent of traders are confident silver will be trading over $100 in 2026. Does that mean there is no risk? Absolutely not, they could all be wrong and it could go down. However, with the worldwide shortage due to lack of refinery capacity it's not likely to go down any time soon.
I'm going to continue buying silver whenever I can find a good deal. Just have a look at the chart of silver for this year to date:

That's what caught my eye about it too, it actually spins! Talk about a creative mind who came up with that one! Too expensive for me right now, when silver was less expensive upon release would have been a great time to snatch one of these up. It would have made a great flip!

And futures open with silver up 8% at $82.70 after being up 11% Friday!

I’d guess $60 handle needs to make appearance before correction is over, but maybe $70 was it and I was .70 cents off when I predicted 70 would break for a moment. We shall see, china market still way higher so the arbitrage trade might hold it up more than otherwise would be. !PIZZA !LADY

While I was hiking, I checked the silver price….
$83.93 on Kitco!👍😀
Then I heard that the CME just raised margin requirements on a 5000 ounce silver contract from $22,000 up to $25,000…….
So the spot price immediately dumped down to $77.01😮
A gambling casino not really a true Spot market!🙄
Too bad there was a correction, but we'll see where it goes next... All it takes is one big move like that to dump the price!
I woke up this morning to see silver crashed back down....
Bitcoin back down to where it was over the weekend......
We just need to patient and keep stacking!!😇👍😀

The perfect coin for the Gambler of the family, personally I'd prefer the poker chip styled silvertowne rounds since my brother is a recreational poker player.

It would have been perfect as a flip if you had picked it up when it was first minted. This is one I wouldn't have hung onto long term, but these usually sell well two or three years after release for a nice profit. With silver as high as it is now though just too expensive for my blood! I love silver poker chips, I have one I picked up some time back.
