Well, well, well! 2021 has came and went. I don't know about you but that year blew by! Seems like just yesterday I was writing this same post at the end or 2020 .

I'm happy to report, I nailed both my #Hive and #LeoFinance goals! Pretty sure I exceeded my expectations for LeoFinance too.

For a quick recap my main goal was to focus more on the Hive blockchain. Get a little more involved in the community. Start posting more and of course build that HP and LP. Achievement unlocked!

I'll start with Hive. I wanted to build the account to dolphin status. I believe that's a little over 5000 HP. I had set my sites at 5500 HP by January 1st. I was planning on starting 2022 a Hive Dolphin. It looks like I've achieved that goal. I'm currently a little over 5300 HP and I have the difference put aside in my trading account. First thing January 1st I'll power up the difference to reach 5500 HP. A HUGE THANKS TO EVERYONE that has supported this account in one way or another. Whether it was a share, upvotes, insightful comments or just a few kind words, your support is greatly appreciated. We have one of the best communities of bloggers here on Hive!

Hive Goals 2022

I'm slowly making Hive my main site for all things social media. At this point, the main reason for my Twitter is to promote Hive. I've been spending more and more time on our blockchain, and I enjoy the content here sooooo much more! I'm so tired of seeing pandemic fud, arguing, rioting, and police violence in my Twitter feed. (I did manage to fix that, and I promise I'll get that post up soon)

So Hive goal #1 - Spend more time here and focus on all things HIVE related. This will include utilizing communities like #Dbuzz, #Cine, #LeoFinance, and #3Speak.

Hive goal #2 - Start vlogging regularly to 3speak. I've already started doing this but I want to get consistent with at least 2 videos per week. I'm hoping to do a crypto vlog and also some travel related stuff each week. I'm really looking forward to that. For the most part I've got the equipment now, it's just a matter of making the time to do it!

Hive goal #3 - Use the Hive blockchain daily in one form or another. Either blog post peakd, or micro blog on Dbuzz, vlog on 3Speak, or just commenting on other peoples posts. My goal is to use and post daily to some place on our blockchain!

Hive goal #4 - Add at least another 1500 HP by January 1st 2023 and as long as that HBD interest rate stays above 8% I'd like to hit at least 1000 in HBD savings. That interest rate is just toooooo shaweeeet! I have to take advantage of it! Currently at 12% APR... That's just insane!

LeoFinance Goals 2022

I exceeded my goals for 2021. My original plan was Leo Dolphin around 350 LP. I'm currently at over 1200 LP. Goal #1 will be to double that next year! 2400 LP by January 1st.

LeoFinance goal #2 - Post at least one crypto article per week to LeoFinance.

I really fell short on that posting goal this year. I hit my LP goal by trading. I started with around 1000 LEO last year. I traded into HIVE around $2 a LEO. When Leo came back down and Hive went back up I tripled up the position and I'm currently holding 2000 for trading and put 1200 in LP. Absolutely ripped the ceiling off the 350 LP goal! This year, I want to focus more on becoming part of the community and commenting, and posting more there. I'll keep trading LEO though and I also want to look into #CUB farming on DeFi next year.

DeFi is another goal / resolution and a whole separate post. This post is strictly Hive related.

3Speak Goals 2022

I'm going to shoot for 2 videos per week. At the very least I plan on at least 1 vlog post per week and I'd also like to spend more time in that community. The more I use that site, the more I'm enjoying some of the great content creators that make up our vlogging community here on Hive!

DBuzz Goals 2022

Dbuzz daily. My attitude towards this is if I'm posting to Twitter, I should be posting to Dbuzz as well. We have a great community of micro-bloggers using Dbuzz and I've been pretty active there. This year, I want to be even more active, and posting daily.

CineTV Goals 2022

I've been watching a lot more film lately and just discovered The #CINETV community here on Hive. I'd like to shoot for at least a post a week related to movie reviews and also get a little more involved with that community.

Lets Go 2022 - Bring It On!

This post is all about HIVE. I'm going to do another post on resolutions for the New Year. Thanks to the motivational posts of @jongolson I learned the importance of writing down your Hive goals. Last year was the first time I committed to writing down my Hive goals and I'm really happy to report that I hit almost all of them. 2022 is going to be all about HIVE for me. I enjoy the content here, I love the people here, and the more I use our blockchain the happier and more confident I become in this awesome crypto project. IMHO HIVE is worth all the time and effort. So long traditional social media sites, HIVE is crypto's and social media's best kept secret. If you're reading this from outside Hive, IDK what you're waiting for but come join in the fun, we'd love to have you as an addition to our great community!
