Do you know what's the maximum number of Threads per minute that Hive can send? I would doubt it can manage as much traffic as Twitter, right now 🙂.
It can't handle it for sure but the thing is that you need RCs in order to send Threads so there wouldn't be a bunch of bots commenting and writing threads like there are on Twitter. Unless they bought and powered up a bunch of Hive.

We'll see if the presumed #Lightning Network & #Dogecoin payments integration in #Twitter will at some point be handled in a similar way, to filter the bots plague.

Yep, I'd think it'll be the fate of all #algorithmically manipulated & #centralized #apps. With more and more decentralized communication options, the " #TradCom " platforms are in a losing spiral.
I think so too. I think the way they use those algos is a little nefarious as well.
Exactly. They determine which #Tweets we're allowed to see, who's allowed to see ours, when & why we're #shadowbanned, etc.
The very opposite of #permissionless and #censorship-resistant communication.

I agree, I'm about done with all of it. Twitter was my first mainstream social media app and probably my last.
You will ride twitter out until it collapses :P
Pretty sure I'm done. I hop on there when their are price movement and 9 out of 10 times I can figure out what's going on by searching #Bitcoin $BTC. Twitter has lost its usefulness and this is the final nail in the coffin.
I am spammed so much with these airdrops tweets. I just hate to hash good information in the sea of bad information
