Yes, the big corporations are subverting many concepts such as DeFi and the Metaverse so they can retain control.

We need true decentralization and that's not going to happen if we keep relying on VCs. We must become our own VCs

      I don't know if they really support Defi or not. At least I generally only seeing those companies going after centralized organizations since they can always sue to get back funds.
