Watching Friends and remembering why this was my favorite show when I was a kid...

It's pure comedy, and it's a comedy unlike nowdays... and there is no politics or woke agenda in it, even though they discuss and talk about such topics there is no hidden manipulation like we see nowdays with current shows.

I loved True Détective. Last season is not bad but obviously pushing a narrative of the bad white people vs the indigenous, strong women/weak men and community/socialism over capitalism. It was more subtile than most shows but still gave me a bitter taste. Especially the end…

How the hell did the anti-capitalist get so powerful... was this a result of a generation that went through 2008 watching their parents struggling? Or was it just that no capitalist actually wants to work for the government and thus stays away from public schools, thus allowing the anti people to be the ones teaching the next generation?
