Ordered supplements online from the US to Portugal, $200 of supplements, supposed to last for 4 or 5 months... Now the shipment is stuck at the border and they are asking me to pay close to $150 to get them.

not surprised. Customs sucks
I've already told them to sent it back to the origin so I can get a refund, it's been almost a week and they haven't told me anything from the company, which is the FedEx branch in Portugal...
Customs didn't care before Covid...
O.O this should ding ding idea. if others in portugal are facing this issue well maybe its possible for u to start a supplement business there O.O
I've actually been thinking about it, maybe I should discuss things with the US company that I ordered things from GorillaMind, to maybe open up a branch in the EU for easier shipment and Customs.
There aren't any companies as good as them

Meh. Pay now, find a way to write it off as a loss of income later! lol
Not sure if I can do that since it was for my own personal use... And from what I've been reading, it would take hours and hours (80h+) on the phone with many different entities to get it cleared.

Does customs treat business purchases different? Perhaps you can piggy back an order mixed in with a business purchase order?
