Task, in dollars... Are Tesla cars affordable in the United States? I mean, is it possible for anyone to buy it or is it still a very luxury item?

Here in Europe too, Teslas are on the road, but mostly corporate cars, and the elite segment. Not for average Joe!
Glad to know that. What I see is that everywhere only those in the elite class can use these cars.
I hope it won't be long before we can use it too.

It is a luxury premium auto. They are not in the economy market at all. This is one of the reasons why there is optimism for the future. The company is having success without being in the largest segment of the market.
Wow! So if it enters the market, there is no doubt that it will be much more profitable for Tesla, as many people would buy it.

It is going to. They are looking at bringing out a car that is $25K in the US. That will sell a lot better.
Not sure how long until it goes into production.
I hope it doesn't take long and if I ever go there, I'll try driving this car.
Here in Brazil it will be impossible to purchase because I can already imagine the price it would be here... Double triple just for taxes. LOL

Yeah. It is still outside the range of most people. Have no fear, the Chinese are making cheaper versions and bringing them to market.
I had forgotten about the Chinese.
They are fast too and the competition will be interesting.

I'm not excited about robotaxis either... Unfortunately there are still many people who are not good drivers in traffic.
In my city, you have to worry about your car as much as the people, motorcycles, trucks and other cars around you.

I think robotaxis will be a big thing. My view is that automated trucking is going to be bigger. That is where the real excitement enters.
What do you say, do you already have plans to happen in the near future? I was curious what that would be like.
Like... traveling from one city to another with an automated bus?
I think you will see cars first. Mass transit and trucks are going to take longer.
It will be interesting to see how it rolls out and what the path is. Nobody really knows. It could be an evolutionary thing that happens when Tesla keeps improving its software.
I understand, so first it will be the cars, as we are already starting to see.

That is my guess. The others are more potential though since there is a huge expense related to the drivers.

They had a record deployment this quarters. 9.6 GW. They did 14.7 all of last year.
So it is growing. The Megapack is wildly successful.
