A great band. Freebird is an absolute classic.
A cursed band to say the least. Rossington was the consistent influence for the band after the crash in 77.
Their legacy will certainly live on. The stories around the band are only a part of the legend, but naturally everyone would have preferred for them to stay alive.
Sadly death is what helps the legend.
Look at Joplin, James Dean, Jimi.
