Details of John Harbaugh's eye-popping five-year Giants contract emerge
The Giants are backing up the Brink’s truck for John Harbaugh.
Harbaugh, who was first reported to be headed to the Giants late Wednesday by The Post’s Paul Schwartz, reportedly will command upwards of $20 million per season on his five-year contract, per NFL Network, making him one of the highest-paid coaches in the league.
With Harbaugh set to top $100 million with his deal, the deal puts him right in line with Kansas City’s Andy Reid and Denver’s Sean Payton, each of whom is also in the $20 million range.
Reid is believed to be the league’s highest-paid coach, earning $20 million per season with the Chiefs, which means Harbaugh could potentially surpass him.
While the deal is not official, the Giants hinted at the inevitably on social media.
