Referee Robert Madley paused play between the two sides as the paraglider continued their flight over the lunchtime fixture, with perplexed supporters craning their necks upwards to see what was going on.

Footage on social media shows them travelling very close over the top of one of the stands as they made their way out of the area.

Play eventually got back underway when the glider disappeared from view and appeared not to be circling back - which is their loss, as they missed out on a dramatic ending that saw Coventry win all three points.
