Someone made a post about features they'd like on Leo and I suggested videos. Short form would be great, low cost, very easily CDN-able and high reward for both viewers, the platform and advertisers.
Videos are in the works. No clue when they will be released. Khal sent out a teaser thread about it earlier.

Many of us are. We just have no idea when it is going to come.
The short videos on Leo would be an explosion of activity and here without a doubt could be a place that would work very well.
Hundreds or maybe thousands of videos every day. This would have a huge impact on the Leo economy.
That is my guess. We know shorts are very popular and take a great deal of attention. We can add a number of them throughout the day.

Well, short videos will be very popular here. I have no doubt about that. It will be something very good for Leo's numbers. There are a lot of Tiktok addicts, I just hope some come here so we can shake this place up even more.
Yeah. We are not likely to bring TikTok people over but we can add to the usage that people have on here.
Yes it is true. Just the fact that we use it like Tiktok, we will have a large number of activities between us here.
As I said, the key is to establish a library of content. The more that i sin the database, the more that can be viewed. We get cat or dog videos on there, they are timeless. It is something we have to consider.
So we need to put more things in different segments.
The work is hard, but we have to do it.
