Background and Founding

TensorWave was founded by Darrick Horton, Jeff Tatarchuk, and Piotr Tomasik, who met through their shared interest in pickleball. The trio recognized an unhealthy monopoly in the GPU market, which was stifling innovation and limiting access to compute resources for AI workloads. They decided to form a company to provide an alternative to Nvidia's GPUs, leveraging AMD's Instinct MI300X instances.
