Background

Submer was founded in 2015 by Pol Valls and Daniel Pope, two entrepreneurs who shared a common goal of reducing the environmental impact of the data center industry. At the time, Valls had experience as a programmer, while Pope had worked in the data center industry, where he had seen firsthand the challenges of cooling servers.
