The market is already anticipating that scenario. Fed from here on will pause, most likely, but at some point, it will be compelled to slash the rates again. The last time we saw 5.25% was in 2007, we know what happen aftermath of that year
Think about the fact that the #fed own target is 2%. That means to even normalize, it has to drop rates according to their own policy.
