Doesn't surprise me. Ethereum fees were a huge gatekeeper for the elite. Binance, whether you like them or not has allowed the little guy to experience Defi.

Yes that is true. The fees on ETH are just out of control. Even dealing with some decent money is hard to do if you are paying $50 a transaction.

Yea I wonder how the entire chain is going to react with the battle between miners and traders. I hope many of the applications on ETH move off it because the fees are ridiculous but would it maintain its speed if their miners leave?

I doubt the Ethereum miners will leave. It would just make Ethereum switch to PoS even faster and who would use the miners' hard fork with crazy high fees. Also I think the "official" Ethereum chain will always be the one that the founder/creater Vitalik supports.

True but I think the ETH chain will probably have problems with less miners. If ETH is no longer profitable, then they will move to a different crypto. So either way it will be a rocky start after the new changes. I think eventually someone has to pay for the people verifying the transactions and the costs have to at least give them something.

It will be interesting to see how that battle works out. I wonder why nobody thought this would be an issue.

The miners are the ones running the chain. It seems they adopted this upgrade without talking to them.

Very interesting indeed. The fees doesn't seem too bad but he's right about not harvesting unless you got a few CUB.

In any case it will be interesting to see the BEE reward incentives for Diesel pools coming up.

Is this in the lines for Diesel pools? I haven't kept up with all the more recent releases. I wonder if this would affect the prices of BEE and WORKERBEE.

I honestly dont follow it closely enough to know the answer to your question. It seems like they are trying to do all they can to help the price of DEC. Helpful that Aggroed is involved in both Splinterlands and Hive Engine.
