Definitely interesting but it doesn't really provide a good explanation. I personally think its the buyers of last resort (bitcoin maximist) that allow it to keep its value. Right now all the large organizations just need to buy up all the BTC they can and eventually they will have control.

That could be the true value there...there are a large number of built in buyers. That always establishes a floor.
