I am trying to push them to develop ways to take a portion of the ad revenue and feed it to those who are active on threads. That is not part of the plan yet but am working on it.
There are ads on threads, not sure when they will be on long form. When people click on ads, it generates revenue for the platform, just like all social media sites.

Ad revenue generated is fed into a smart contract that ends up buying $LEO. As of now, that will be fed to the holders of Leo Power.

Ah, as simple as that! Did not notice any ads, so that's why the additional confusion. xD
LOL I guess they are well placed then. If you have Leo Power you will be getting some distributed when the contract goes live.
