With China, it is all about control. Well that is the case with every government but it is especially with them.
The energy usage isnt going to bother them. It is all a way to combat Bitcoin as they push the CBDC.

Yea but I wonder how many foreign investors still want to invest in this IPO. I think the first delay of the IPO dealt heavy financial damages to the early investors. I am not sad for these people because it's usually the hedge funds and banks that got hurt.

I second that. They are rushing the digital yuan because of the threat crypto and the two major digital wallet companies existing right now represent. The Chinese government feels like losing control.
