It's hard to lose a primary when you are the only one on the ticket.

That is true. Saddam used that approach very effectively.

Sounds like a challenge. But I do recall one losing to a dead opponent once. !BBH

Marianne Williamson (from 2020) is running against Biden. Dean Phillips is a new entrant into the primary race. As with his GOP nemesis, Biden is the prohibitive favorite to clinch the nomination.

Yeah. They arent even on the radar.

Rumors are being floated that Michelle Obama might run with Biden dropping out. I think Barack is the one floating the rumor.

I've heard that rumor, too; supposedly he finishes the primary season, and between then and the end of the DNC convention the change is made. Even if Biden gets swapped out, what happens to the VP candidate?

I think it is safe to say she is going to be shown the door no matter what happens. I'm no political guru but I would say that, if they run him, they have to get someone stronger on the ticket. The chance of him making it 4 years is low.

Another popular theory says that he remains the Democrat nominee, and in the event he is re-elected he steps down to let Kamala Harris become the 47th President of the United States. While history-making, she won't have been elected to be POTUS; think Gerald Ford after Richard Nixon.
