Well the US is dividing. The European thinking is penetrating certain aspect of the US mindset. However, this is not the case with people like Elon and those companies that left California.

I think we are going to see more innovation in the US shifting around.

Sort:

Is a country like El Salvador to small to ever be able to compete? Otherwise they seem to be open to new ideas.

The question is how the technological capabilities of the country. The fact they adopt Bitcoin is not really an example of technological excellence.

I dont think El Salvador is very advanced technologically.

Not me either. But with opening up fot $BTC they have made them a attractive place for $BTC people which are often very technically talented.

What technical talent is there with Bitcoin people? There is no building on the network really.

Most bitcoin people are nothing but cheerleaders and trying to pump the price.

Actually this is true for most of Web 3.0. Few are doing anything technical. Hell very few even understand some of the basics of technology.

Well I have seen a lot of tech companies being started around $BTC and seen the talent they attract.

So its not only cheerleaders and pump and dump peoples :D

So tell me what have they made that is going to have an impact on any type of scale?

Isnt Lightning Network one idea that already had a big impact?

Any company with any sense let California long ago. I'm not going to be long behind. Just have to find someone to buy my house at the right price!

Some have left. There are still advantages to being in California especially in the tech sector. However, as technology progresses, it makes people less important.

I find the question about Southern California with Hollywood collapsing. This is something that is going to have a major impact upon the state.

No matter who the next president is, first priority must be to unite the nation again.

One problem is that the best way to do it is to start a war. We against them...

Do you see any place picking up the torch and try to invite innovation? Argentine?

No matter who the next president is, first priority must be to unite the nation again.

It isnt going to happen. Neither side is going to accept defeat at this point.

We are quickly looking at a situation where you live in the United States is going to become important.

The future of technology, to a great degree, we are going to see happening in a decentralized manner. There is a lot of major stuff that will still come from Big Tech. We have the model with Web 3.0.

So you expect to be riots and stuff no matter who wins? Even if one party might win big?

Yep. The United States is in a bad place and the "leadership" along with media is only feeding into it.

I kinda hope it will be a big win for either party. Hopefully ease the tensions.

As I said, I dont think it will change anything, especially if it is a big win for Trump. It will only ratchet up the rhetoric.

We will have to wait and see. Either way, the losing side should not encourage violence to the other side.

Sad and very true, I don't recognize the country I grew up in...

It's basically going to turn into the Empire and the Rebellion, lol. At least I am in the woods with a semi decent amount of bullets, lol.

I have a feeling there will be a lot of distasteful things happening after the election, regardless of who wins.

Ironic but you will see the south rise again. We are likely heading for a fracturing of the United States. I predict there will 3 sections.

Sounds about right. I hate my kids are on opposite sides from me and each other, lol. My son is in NJ and daughter is still in OR. Her and her boyfriend are talking heavily about moving here to the family plot. She has finally seen the light, lol. She told me the other day she hopes nothing happens in the next 2 years while he finishes mechanic school before they get here, lol. She also said she wants to build a bunker, lol.

Yeah. In the long run, those areas that do not embrace freedom and push over-government saturation end up killing their economy.

The more NY and California resemble the EU, the worse it is going to be for them.
