In fact, I can honestly say that once a mountain has beaten me down, stripped me of any semblance of pride, and left me a gasping, staggering, physical mess, I rarely venture back a second time.
Which is why it’s extremely rare that I might have even remotely considered subjecting myself to the rare phenomenon of climbing a mountain not twice, but three times.
