In the last video, we discussed how FSD and robotaxis are two different revenue streams. FSD is a subscription model that is being rolled out.
After the video was made, reports started to circulate that enhanced autopilot was released in China. We are unclear whether this is FSD which requires another name in China or a different version. This will have to be spelled out in the next few weeks.
In this video I discuss the numbers and how it enhances the push towards 1 million subscribers. The profitability might change some since the Chinese prices are $99 per month or $66 per for a 3 month subscription. We will presume the same 80% profit margin on the software.

This is interesting. They will be able to get a lot of data in China, but I wonder how effective it will be there. Compared to the US, I assume there are a lot more pedestrian in China, and they probably don't always use the crossing. The autopilot will probably have its work cut out for it.
