1/ Just like I thought, the future of VSC is not disappointing. We saw the presentation at Hivefest covering what the system is going to bring to Hive. It starts with wrapped BTC.
2/ This will eventually include any coin that is out there. By settling on Hive, these can be moved without the high fees and with greater speed. We also are going to see NFT minting.
3/ This will enable developers to mint NFTs and users to also move them seamlessly and without great cost. The drawback to the EVMs is often the fees associated with these processes.
5/ This is paired with HBD being required as collateral for the nodes to process transactions. This eliminates the need to trust the node operators since the system has the transactions collateralized.
4/ We also have a major use case: HBD will be an access token.
To interact with the network, staked HBD could be used, similar to Hive Power. This really pushes more of that coin to the network.
