3/ It started with the $30 million buy of Voice.com from Microstrategy. Then it took another $180 million in operations. This was backed by Block. One, although things fizzled after Larimer left.

2/ Voice was the idea of Dan Larimer of putting decentralized social media on EOS. The idea was one person, one voice. Of course, to do that, it had KYC which really goes against the tenets of #crypto.

I've actually never heard of this "VOICE" before... No surprise it has been killed!

And hopefully you may never hear it again , only may be at the peak of the bull run for some people to FOMO in their money there.

4/ It was also supposed to be the Hive killer (well Steem) due to Larimer's tied to that blockchain. Ultimately, it killed off nothing but itself.

5/ This is another example of how a big money project went by the wayside, taking a couple hundred million dollars with it.

What's going taskmaster. Who is this hive killer?

It was intended to be a Hive killer but it died on arrival. Hive has no rival.

Still pulling me off track.

The idea was dead on arrival with notions for KYC and today, #Hive still stands alone in the path of blockchains supporting content creation and curation.
