Small business was devastated over the last few decades, especially in developed countries. We find more power in the hands of powerful mega-corporations.

In this video I discuss how Hive is bringing back the idea of the small business owner. In fact, our ativities on Hive are, indeed, a small business. I spell out how people are going about this and a couple ways this could be enhanced.

Better said impossible, my own personal branding starts on Hive with my content, I can't wait to see how far it goes!

It definitely is business-like when we have so many differnet types of tokens and income sources. We have blogging, curating (staking tokens), play to earn and drip tokens.

I have a small NFT renting business on Hive via Splinterlands. That’s one way to look at it, anyway.

I distribute slices of !PIZZA as well. 😝

Hive offers the possibility to generate income with a very low entry treshold. Making some posts is nice but it takes a different dimension when we look at this activity as a business where every reader is a customer that we want to keep happy with interesting content and with answers to their comments. Each comment becomes an opportunity to grow our influence and our customer base. We can extend our reach by going out there and provide comments. It's a slow but organic process and over time our income can grow. With a professional mind set, this business can become pretty interesting and then you can find ways to leverage it through tokenisation and by teaming up with other people. It's pretty exciting and the best type of business I have created so far, and I have created a couple of them :-)

I never though of it that way that a Hiver with his online activity is doing his own business. That to me is something "strange" and perhaps "funny" particularly in the eyes of those who do business the traditional way.
