I have long been bearish on OpenAI? We now see Grok and Gemini (Google) jumping to the head of the class. These are two behemoths with plenty of resources (xAI has Musk).
What does the future hold?

What about Meta and a Microsoft, both also have huge money shields, yet they haven't seemed to capitalize much on their integrations.
Windows 11 comes with Copilot and WhatsApp comes with Meta AI. However I think they have been stuck as far as functionality goes. Meta used to generate images easily, and now the feature is removed, also integration to their platforms have been suppressed.
Copilot has been greatly ignored by most of the internet, and not sure how businesses are integrating it to their corporate platform.
Perhaps Microsoft suits will start their force feeding techniques like they did with Teams and other technologies. Or perhaps it will die like the Holo lens and other experimental tech.
As far as I can tell, the AI buzz has been more and more quiet on X and it seems we are jumping from the buzz to the acceptance and normalization stage.
At my work we have Microsoft365 licenses, that includes basic copilot features. They’ve integrated it in every product. From teams, outlook to excel and OneDrive.
The basic features allow you to open a side panel where you can ask questions for what you’re working on.
If you get copilot+ then it will do things for you. Like asking it in natural language to create a formula and apply it to your excel sheet.
It gets more interesting when you ask it to summarize an email thread and then create a PowerPoint slide show from the content without you telling it exactly how.
The teams meeting transcript that automatically creates notes and action points that are then emailed if you want is also really good for enterprise use.
You can create custom AI agents that combine all these actions across the whole Microsoft 365 suite.
When used well, it creates a massive productivity boost for an enterprise.
As that is a competitive advantage, it isn’t talked about much. You don’t want your competitors to get smart too right?!
