The Bitcoin Cafe | Where Crypto Is Totally Ilegal

in LeoFinance3 years ago

Bitcoin is now in the mainstream. Many peoples have now held bitcoin as savings and using other altcoins as a payment processor. But still, in many country cryptos are totally banned for many reasons. For instance, my country is very developing, Govt took many steps for progress in technology. But, they turn away to legalizing digital assets. In the law of money laundering act 2012,

Govt. clearly said that any types of digital assets activities that do not monitor by the central bank will be illegal

They stand with some reasons why they don't legalize it

  • Cryptocurrency is quite volatile, it can affect people's economy
  • Crypto might have large benefits for money laundering, help to transition illicit money
  • A small country like us are not ready for facing this kind of technology

Although, if you look at the practical life of the internet world. Here, peoples of our country using crypto openly, not only using it many peoples promotes many crypto companies. In real life, crypto banning is only in the papers. Our peoples trades crypto, invest, do mining, promotes campaign, manage large communities. We have many crypto enthusiasts who work all over the crypto sides. Govt. knows that freelancers also lean to the crypto market and don't take action against them. They also want to develop the country's finance system. But they don't wanna make it open for normal peoples because at the end of the day there are many corrupt peoples in our system that they can misuse the benefits of crypto.

Okay, after lots of waffles, let's come to the point. There is a so-called cafe house in the urban area of Dhaka. The name is

The Bitcoin Cafe.

Personally saying that the internal environment of the cafe shop is fascinating and those designing of crypto technology is eye-catching. Peoples from other professions will get an acknowledgment about crypto-technology. However, they do not receive any kind of crypto payment as it's banned in our country. The owner of the cafe shop made this kind of cafe shop only for educational purposes, this cafe shop does not encourage people to make an entry into crypto. They always respect the decisions and values from Govt.

My point of view: If anyone asked me why you still on crypto, where your Govt. does not support it? See, Govt. also does not ban in practical life, if your go-to bikcointalk forum there you can see, Bangladesh is the 3/4 on the list of language section. O youtube, many small influencers openly promotes many campaigns and managing large communities. I saw many peoples from our motherland who leading large crypto projects that have effects on many people's life. If Govt. wants, they can stop all these activities within 1 week.

However, our Economy Ministry has a positive vibe for digital assets and we hope, near future our country will legalize it.
