RE: Why Bitcoin Will Beat The US Dollar!

in LeoFinance3 years ago

I had to laugh at the irony of the seashell system favoring the coastal population. The rich people are still on the coastal areas.

I heard the reason that quarters have ridges is because they would also shave off the edge when they were made out of silver. They didn't change the design after they changed the metal.

I didn't know the dollar and gold reserves were inequal before the inception of the federal reserve.

The US dollar only seems to be worth anything because it's the reserve currency and the only reason it's still the reserve currency, besides the military, is because China is such a bad actor. It would be world suicide to give that over to them, so they're trying to rob it with their digital currency.

Great article!

lol, yes, that is fairly amusing, I didn't even notice it til you pointed out, thank you!

Very interesting point about ridged quarters, makes sense!

I'm not sure the reserves were unequal before the inception of the Fed... did I write that? I'm surprised no one else mentioned it? Hmm, I may have to re-read, fact-check, or edit.

Yes, USD being the 'global reserve currency' is a big part of it's remaining value. And great point about choosing the U.S. over China. I really appreciate your insightful comment, thank you! 🙏
