...Scarcity.
There, that's the post.
Well, almost. Think about it. We are more spoilt than ever by the abundance of digital media and tools that we have at our disposal today. And this is going to increase exponentially.
We can listen to all of the music in the world for approx £10 pm. We can watch a gazillion TV shows and movies for around the same monthly amount. If we don't to spend any money on digital entertainment, we can indulge in the dopamine hits of the endless scroll...
And this is how the world will be (just more of it).
Digital stuff will get cheaper and cheaper until it costs v zero (like lots of the apps on your phone...
Pay anything for that digital calendar app, or torch app, or calculator app?
Nah, I didn't think so!
So in a world of abundance, scarcity attracts every increasing value.
And herein lies the genius of Bitcoin. It is digital and scarce. And it becomes massively more scarce as time marches on.
From next year, the Bitcoin halving rate will reduce the number of BTC mined per block from the current 6.25 BTC to 3.125 BTC.
And so it continues roughly every four years. The scarce gets even more scarce.
We started with the first blocks mining (creating) 50 Bitcoin per block.
Fast forward to around 2096, and it will take over a year to mine one single Bitcoin.
Uh-oh, supply shock, anyone?!!!
Spend it wisely, kids! ;)

Hmm
I also believe that our exposure to too much technology helps us to be more lazy because we are going to rely too much on technology
