I think a few people make that much, but not many outside the top witnesses. You will remember when some people did really well from this blockchain and some could live off it if they lived somewhere cheap. I know InLeo is doing lots of things, but Hive is much bigger than that and there are lots of opportunities. A major factor in success is getting people on board who create really popular content and I don't think we have many yet. I won't pretend that I'm a great creator, but I'm having fun.

Problem with Hive and it's always been this since Steem....The overseers.
If you don't align with their views you wont get any upvotes or support. Even worse, when they want to silence you, they can downvote you into oblivion. Which doesn't happen much anymore (downvote wars) but people love removing rewards from others if it doesnt fit their narrative.
That's why LEO has a brighter future. There is zero ego on the platform and the whales want to see it succeed.
Hive is tribal and has a few powerful people who can be vindictive. We don't get the wars so much like before, but I know some people have everything wiped out. I am just amazed that they persist with Hive, but they have the freedom to do so.
Is there really 'zero ego'? It's all people with their natural failings. I know you have been a fan for ages, but I just don't find myself using the Leo tools much. I do think Threads is cool and it led the way, but the general feed seems to have little that appeals to me whilst I get more out of Snaps for now. Really I need to curate the feed I get as I don't need to see everything.
I am still a fan of Hive and see mostly positive things. We can grow in multiple directions.
The main difference on LEO is, the whales want the token to be spread out. On Hive, the powers that be don't want every day people to succeed because that lowers their power on chain if everyone wins.
Some will and some won't. If Hive doesn't grow then it won't gain value and we all lose.
that's the key right there....
hive doesnt need to grow for the whales on hive to win. they just need to keep it status quo. that's the fight man. that's the single biggest issue. nothing needs to change in their world.
