I enjoyed it as some light entertainment. Don't try to take the time travel stuff too seriously as it doesn't make much sense. It's just a plot device and not science. The effects are adequate, but we take them for granted these days.
Kids in movies can be annoying, but young Adam was not too bad and you felt for him as he suffered with the bullies. It did have some emotional depth with the various relationships between different Adams and his parents. It's quite a small set main actors really, but then it may not have the budget of a movie that is aimed at cinemas. Netflix are spending a lot on content though.
As we pay for Netflix anyway having such movies is a nice bonus. I've still got loads on there I'd like to watch eventually. This was fun for my Friday evening.
