I'm on board. There have been talks of this type of action before (not as specific as your formula that I know of), so you're absolutely on the right track. I imagined something basic like a merge like Archons in StarCraft. Most importantly, we need that floor to level up or else it's going to pull everything down with it until interest spikes again.
