The best benefit on Hive is that we will get a good handsome APR on HBD saving. This is something, that we do not get anywhere outside. Not even banks gives us such good return. Since the day, the APR is fixed 20 % I kept aside all my HBD into saving and gaining every month. I started with 3000 HBD few months ago (Mar'22). Today I am sitting well above 3700+ HBD. With this month's interest accrue for add up.
My HBD interest earning for last month is standing 61.256 which is equivalent to $ 59.05 (as per today's conversion rate) and taking up entire HBD holding to well above 3772 HBD.
I remember, I started HBD saving when the APR is fixed 20%. I keep up powering up my HBD and in March 2022 I added 500 HBD to reach 3000 in HBD saving. In last 9 months I have accumulated 772 HBD = $ 741 in all through Interest. If I convert this amount in INR it stands to INR 60k. Which is a good handsome passive income, without doing much and keeping the money safe.
This month I wanted to withdrew some of my HBD saving to increase my Hive Power. I wanted to Increase my stake by converting HBD to Hive. This is the best time, to invest on #hive with prices as lower as $0.29. I knew there is a lock in of 3 days as notified on HBD saving page. Just to test and understand the withdrawal ,process I placed a withdrawal request of 272 HBD. The page asked my authentication and then accepted the request with waiting period of 3 days.
Todsy is the second day, and hopefully the required HBD will be credited tomorrow. It would be interesting to see and also good time to utlise my passive income to increase my stake on #hiveblockchain. HBD being a stable coin the prices may hover around $1, but #Hive being the functional currency surely will hit the roof. There is no harm in keeping some liquid or to invest in curstion.

That is not a bad idea, at some point I also used my HBD to buy back hive, I think it's a smart play. I just think HBD saves one from the volatility out there.
Yes ...atleast if not entire hbd...we can use the monthly interest to get good deal on Hive.....the price right now is ery affordable to have some Christmas shopping.😉

Yes internal market....you can place at a limit as well...and automatically credited to hive wallet...recently I converted few hbd @0.26
I think that's one of the best moves to make with Hive's price being below $0.3. You'll be able to scoop a lot of it and make some profits when the price comes up again.
That's true...we hasten in padt how #Hive shoot up to $3... a 50% hike from current price will give me more than hbd interest...so it's a good bet
With Hive prices this low, it is a great strategy to buy some extra Hive. But at the same time 20% APR on HBD is no joke, like you just shown, 60K INR is a good passive amount. And this will rise with time.
I want to withdraw some for Christmas celebration, I will see what I chose to withdraw from, Hive or HBD. Pretty tough choice tbh.
I will suggest to add on Hive from hbd...there is no other better celebrstion.....I regret when I didn't buy them at low last time....and price went onto $3...this time I will surely try to get more Hive.
