First day on Reddit - Learning's & Observation's

Finally, I logged into, #reddit, solely to promote #hive content. My account name ended up with @asorablead4420. *(unable to change, as I was accessing it through mobile browser). First day on the platform. I was trying to understand, how the platform works. I was sure mere sharing the content link does not going to work. At the end of the day, I have a mixed experince. I did posted few, faced some backlash in the comment and also achievd few platform level.

Thanks to the this post from @x-rain which alerted me about the missing link on #hive. I was a posh member earlier, activelly sharing my linknon #twitter account. But I missed out the update when #posh transformed to #rediit platform. I never had "reddit' access before.

What is Reddit ?

Reddit functions as a social platform where users submit content like links, text posts, or images, which other users then "upvote" or "downvote" to indicate their approval or disapproval on the content. The content with more #upvotes rises to the top of the platdorm page and becomes more visible, while downvoted content sinks, with the most upvoted content appearing on the main "front page" of Reddit. It is more like a sea-saw game.

The posts on Reddit are organized into topic-specific communities called "subreddits" which users can create and join based on their interests. Morelike our own communities based hive ecosystem. While trying out the new platform I began with an pigeon image on 'r/pigeon' and it really went well, as far as new beginer is concerned.

17 upvotes for a new post is worth noticing. However, while I was happy for the response, I got some backlashes, when few user does not like my views on other user content. It went drastically and did faced some backlashes with downvotes. It was my personal opinion on mobile back cover, but seems most of the user did not liked it.

I went on to comment few more post frommother user and it went well. The platform comes out to be very friendly

Sharing Hive link.

With first successful image posting, I went to try sharing my #hive link on 'reddit'. Sharing links is bit confusing as there are many communities to look for. Some of these communities have their own criteria tonpost. Choosing one which relates with your post is bit challenging. There are chances that the links or you post could be removed by the community mod. Ingot that experince too. Posting on 'reddit' is easy. You needs to select the community, write some meaning full text. In case you want to share image, upload some or in case younhave links, click on link tab to post the link.

I spent few hours in understanding the platform. Essentially, the platform acts as an online discussion boards for specific subjects. What I observe, is that one need to be active before getting any traction. Instead if directly sharing the link, do spend some time to make yourself familiar with communities and platform. It is all about making the presence felt. Once you start3d sharing the #hive link, you will start getting auto reddit notification on the related post.

Make sure to link the 'reddit' account on the hiveposh.com. It also allows the user to gain some posh token. I did accumulated earlier through #twitter sharing and now began a fresh journey. One does not need to devote much time, a little time during the day is enough. Have fun and spread more about #hive.
