There was a CEO who was asked about how Americans are on a tight budget. He suggested maybe people can replace some of their meals with a bowl of cereal.
Now, there was some outrage to this comment. But when I tell this story to people around me they are not outraged. They actually say something like “mmmmmm I love cereal for supper”
So recently we have this thing where we order pizza on Saturday, then Sunday afternoon we have pizza leftovers nice and order something “small” afterwards for supper
Tonight we had our favourite breakfast croissant which has eggs, bacon, I think some ham, chipotle mayo and cheese
So good
Today we also tried their almond croissants, which have some chocolate in them, super delicious and heavy, definitely full
Breakfast food is just so good though. I could have very well had some scrambled eggs, or French toast or waffles etc. I wouldn’t have minded any of those.
Recently though I have been craving a massive buffet style breakfast
With eggs
Bacon
Sausage
Hasbrowns
Bagels with cream cheese and salmon
A nice cappuccino and a nice pastry
So for now I just UberEats whatever im craving until I can find a date to book a nice long trip at an all inclusive
It’s been almost 10 years since I have gone away and I used to go almost every year so I am probably loooong over due

I had a homemade fresh Banana bread I baked the day earlier, with little butter and a dark roast coffee this morning. I'm not into Denny's Grand slam type of breakfasts and sometimes it is a bowl of cereal will do. It's one aspect of simplifying my living costs and afford the stack of PMs I now have.
mmmm butter with fresh banana bread sounds really good
