Hive has it going on

There are a lot of different “levels” when it comes to trading tokens in the crypto space

Have you ever seen those 3 bubbles where you can only pick 2 ?

Like “sleep, social life, work” where you can sleep and work but have no life. You can work and party but will affect your health. Or you can party and sleep and get no where in life financially

Now of course there are some Jedi’s who can do it all, but digress

In crypto, we have “fast, cheap, safe”

Centralized exchanges might be fast and cheap, but are they safe?

Decentralized exchanges might be super safe, but sometimes they are not cheap, and sometimes they aren’t fast

Hive however, has the best experience for small amounts

Using the hive.blog wallet page, you click on market bringing you to the internal exchange

This exchange is super fast, hive blockchain has 3 second blocks, but it feels even faster

Also, hive has no fees. Correct me if im wrong when I say you can change back and forth all you want and you wont get chopped up by fees

The only “con” would be slippage. I haven’t done the math but not sure how much slippage there would be trading in out out with $100,000 +

Not sure how that would throw everything up in a loop

Exchanges on ethereum can get very expensive when eth gas fees are up

Pulsechain, which is a fork of ethereum, has way less expensive fees… but if the price goes up any higher, the fees will be just as much as ethereum is today… unless of course they adjust the levers a bit so people can use way less units for the fees, but humans craving speed, they just bid up the transaction fee, which is good for validators

If only there was a TINY fee for every hive transaction that burns the tokens. Small enough that the average user won’t even notice it but large enough to make a dent in countering the inflation of the token

To implement such a thing would be next to impossible though unless everyone comes together and votes it in

The exchange experience on hive though is next to none.. if there was a way to bridge tokens from outside of hive into the hive ecosystem that would be wild

Wrapped ethereum, wrapped bitcoin, wrapped everything, on hive, safe and secure, and tradable for 0 fees

Imagine that. Sending bitcoin, Ethereum, wtv, for 0 fees

Maybe in this case, charge a tiny fee, super tiny. Again small enough to be worth the bridging, but enough to fund building up this branch of utility.

The more and more I think of this and that it pushes me into thinking maybe I should build my own product or coin…

Sounds like a daunting task but if any bozo can do it why not someone who knows what works and what doesn’t
