Those two are the the best advices for sorare investors. As long as eth threshold rewards are there rare is the way to go. I plan to do the same and sell some limited cards when they gain some value (most are mls cards). I will keep u23 and probably young talented players limited though!

Getting the backup GKs from the same team is the best hedge insurance!

How did your roster did in the eth price decreased ? Cause most of my players holded value and caused eth quantity increase in theory by selling those cards.
