Because of it's ability to be a store of value. If you look at how USD has been devalued every year and BTC has appreciated every year. There is a limited supply and companies like Paypal and stock trading platforms adopting crypto payments + trading.
Then you have Elon Musk pumping BTC and buying BTC for their balance sheet. Therefore people see BTC as a good store of value.
